Hello Zift team!
It was great chatting with you last week. After going through my notes, I wanted to ensure that I understood clearly the opportunities that you see for Zift Solutions to leverage the presence and perspective of your leadership and other customer-facing teammembers on LinkedIn.
With the goal of creating more visibility, you had mentioned the desire to create ghostwritten content on LinkedIn. You also mentioned the goal of getting involved in the conversations that are already happening on LinkedIn. And Heather (Tenuto) had mentioned that she was already present on LinkedIn, but that she wasn’t comfortable becoming actively engaged in the conversations and was simply using the platform for business intelligence.
Which means that you are already half of the way to enabling your team to use their own participation to identify and pursue opportunities on LinkedIn. These could be immediate needs the prospects or partners have, but also brand- and content-development possibilities that would reinforce you as the go-to resources for your customers. By harnessing the knowledge and experience of your team, you could quickly identify and “show-up” in the relevant conversations online.
There are a few places I could help, and wanted to suggest a some jumping off points. These can be customized based on your exact needs:
- Ghostwriting and executive coaching for the leadership team’s static presence on LinkedIn. This would start with profile development, as leadership is already getting a lot of traction on their profiles. We can also offer feedback on the Company Page.
- We can also provide support for those who want to be more active on the platform. We can provide coaching on how to identify and build connections with other influencers in the channel partner space. And then help with content strategies around content creation and editorial calendars, as well how to engage with external content and how to spark conversations.
- Moving beyond leadership, we can also help create materials and provide training to enable sales, customer success, and other customer-facing teammembers to also leverage their presence online.
As we discussed, my work not only provides the skillsets and toolsets that your leadership and business development teams need to succeed on LinkedIn, but the mindset shifts that are required. Giving your team an outside perspective is often key to helping them move forward in their adoption.
Looking forward to continuing the conversation!
