For the past few years, I’ve been making professional development videos with my friend Rob Hazan from Me on Video. We create a studio in my living room and put together short clips that we post on YouTube. It’s pretty cool that we have a forum to do this, and it’s cool that the videos have gotten over 15,000 hits.
Of course, it can be disconcerting to see a video about a kitten splashing in water gets 2.3 million hits. It’s frustrating to know that we’d rather watch animals playing than improve our skills – but I get it, kittens are really cute.
So how could I take advantage of this? How could I teach and connect with our desire to watch cat videos on YouTube?
